Job summary

A logistics and freight forwarding company is looking for an experienced individual to manage export bookings and documentation. The role involves full shipment cycle management, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in freight forwarding and knowledge of ocean shipping requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tools such as SeasRate and Cargowise is preferred. The position is based in Bugis, Singapore with a salary range from S$2,500.00 to S$3,000.00.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of freight forwarding experience.
  • Solid knowledge of ocean shipping requirements and documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Knowledge in SeasRate and Cargowise.

Responsibilities

  • Handle export bookings and documentation from start to file closure.
  • Manage full shipment cycle: documents, manifests, pre-alerts, invoicing, cost tracking.
  • Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and external regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the system.
  • Understand customer needs and deliver solutions for satisfaction.
  • Support the team with additional tasks when required.
