Job Scope

1. Cargo & Shipment Handling

  • Verify cargo clearance permits and cargo conditions prior to release to the delivery team.
  • Perform checks to ensure all approvals and documentation are in place before shipment release.

2. Shipment Coordination & Follow-Up

  • Track and follow up on shipments with customers, carriers, co-loaders, transporters, and overseas agents.
  • Handle bookings, shipment tracking, and provide timely updates to clients.

3. Documentation & Communication

  • Prepare and manage airfreight documents.
  • Handle documentation and correspondence with customers to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.

4. Coordination & Liaison

  • Coordinate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure operational efficiency.

5. Data Entry & System Management

  • Accurately input shipment details, invoices, and other relevant information into the in-house operations system.

6. Operational Support

  • Provide general support to the operations team as needed, contributing to the team's overall performance and workflow.
Requirements
  • Polytechnic Diploma/BA degree. Preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc)
  • Experience working in a customer service focused environment
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Your unique personality! A great sense of humor is an advantage.
