Job summary

A logistics services company in Singapore is seeking a Logistics Executive to be the primary point of contact for customers. Responsibilities include managing the logistics process, addressing customer inquiries, and maintaining shipping documents. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in transport distribution and a diploma in Logistics or related fields. Familiarity with Singapore traffic regulations and good PC skills are essential. The position requires a commitment to a 5.5-day work week.

Job Scope
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment inquiries, order status, and delivery timelines.
  • Handle customer complaints and provide effective solutions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage the end-to-end logistics process, including order entry, tracking, invoicing and confirmation.
  • Ensure that customer orders are processed accurately and within the expected timeline.
  • Work closely with warehouse, transportation, and 3PL to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Communicate with carriers and freight providers to resolve any issues related to shipments, such as delays or damages.
  • Prepare, verify, and maintain shipping documents, invoices, and customs clearance papers as required.
  • Generate regular reports on delivery performance, customer feedback, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks in the supply chain and propose corrective actions.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as requested by Reporting Officer
Requirements
  • Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain/Business Administration/Finance and above.
  • Able to work 5.5 days work week.
  • Mininum 2 years working experience in transport distribution or first/last mile delivery operations.
  • Good PC skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
  • Experience in CRM
  • Familiar with Singapore traffic rules and regulations
  • Candidates who can start work immediately or on short notice will have an added advantage.
