About The Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Customer Service(Sales Support) Executive to join our freight forwarding team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales department by processing customer orders, preparing quotations, coordinating of shipments and ensuring smooth delivery to clients. You will act as the link between customers, overseas agents and internal operations teams to ensure timely updates and excellent service to the clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in supporting sales teams enquiries from existing & new customers.
  • Support sales personnel to prepare quotations for import/export air/ocean shipments.
  • Support customer’s individual enquiry – coordinating buying & selling rate to prepare full quotation by communicating local / overseas agents.
  • Create and send quotations for customers by CargoWise1 system.
  • Working closely with internal departments (Sales, Operations & Finance) and external parties to ensure seamless execution.
  • Report discrepancies in customer forecasting of shipments operations procedures, recommend solutions to improve smooth handling.
  • Handles incoming calls with the intent of providing customer satisfaction, retention and extending contact to sell new or additional products or services.
  • Works in conjunction with outdoor sales representatives to provide pre-and / post-sales support.
  • Proactively informs customer on shipment status, exceptions and provides timely updates on incident solution.
Job Requirements:
  • Fluent in English (Additional Chinese) written and spoken to communicate effectively with Chinese clients and associates.
  • Minimum 4~6 years’ full operations & customer service experience such as airfreight / oceanfreight (FCL, LCL) / cross trading in Singapore Logistics field.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Cargowise1 system.
  • Solid knowledge of Air & Ocean freight Import / Export and general logistics industry and market understanding.
  • Strong communication skill with internal and external customer contacts.
