Job summary

A logistics solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Specialist. You will coordinate shipments, manage customer inquiries, and develop strong client relationships. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding or Logistics, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and possess strong communication skills. Qualifications

This newly created position is part of the rapid expansion in the freight team covering air, sea, road transport, and warehouse.

The Challenges
  • Coordinate shipments, schedule bookings, and prepare documents required for international shipping (air, sea, and road transport).
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry for tracking shipments, processing orders, and providing quotes.
  • Monitor shipments from the point of origin to the final destination, proactively communicate any delays, and manage client expectations.
  • Prepare quotations based on customer needs, attend to problems, and propose competitive rates.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering solutions to enhance their logistics experience for new products and services.
  • Answer customer inquiries, schedule meetings, and attend sales appointments.
What It Takes
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in inside sales, specifically in Freight Forwarding, Shipping, or Logistics.
  • Experience in administration and high-volume office work.
  • Self-motivated with multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
