Job summary

A Singapore logistics company is seeking a dedicated Order Processing Support professional. Responsibilities include handling customer orders, coordinating with supply schedules, and fostering strong customer relationships. Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in logistics, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure. A positive attitude and proficiency in MS Office are essential. This role is critical in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring efficient order management.

Job description
  1. Committed to doing everything possible to prevent injuries and to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  2. To support OSH program and make safety and health a part of their daily routine and to ensure that they are following safe work methods and relevant regulations.
  3. Responsible for Order Processing support (order processing, customer order verifications & follow up with customer orders)
  4. Prepare orders for Planner and follow-up with customers when there are incomplete information or documents
  5. Coordination with booking agents or ship operators for status of supply schedule / vessel loading
  6. Collaborate closely with the planner to ensure timely supply and coordination.
  7. Tally overall order received at the end of day to ensure no orders are missed out.
  8. Ensure all delivery orders are received (arrange dispatch) once job completed and forward to customers as proof of delivery
  9. Closing of job orders for billing once job is completed.
  10. Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solution and alternatives
  11. Foster long-term, sustainable relationships with customers by maintaining open, transparent and interactive communication, thereby building trust and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  12. Other duties as assigned.

  • Capable to work independently and demonstrate a strong work ethic
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, showing flexibility and committment to being a supportive team player
  • Able to analyze processes and identifying areas for improvement
  • Capable of performing well under pressure during peak periods, and willingness to take on responsibility.
