Job summary

A private recreation club in Singapore is seeking a Customer Service Assistant or Executive to provide excellent service and support to members. The role includes administrative support, customer service, and facility oversight. Suitable candidates will have good communication and interpersonal skills, be team players, and hold at least an N Level, O Level, or ITE Certificate. 6-day work week

2 rotating shifts

Morning shift staggered between 7.30am and 7.00pm

Afternoon shift staggered between 12.00pm and 11.00pm

Looking for candidates with any industry working experiences in clubs, government club or private club, guest relations, customer services, call centre, retail, front desk, hotel, airlines, any type of hospitality industry welcome

Kindly note that, this is not a desk bound job, candidates job scope need to move around the club facilities to overlook and supervise the other workers.

Duties And Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support
  • Provide customer service to members using the facilities, including checking of identification pass to ensure only authorised users are entering facilities, and registering members for facility use and events/activities
  • Answer phone enquiries eg. provide information with regards to facilities and activities
  • Update booking system, complete daily facility and activity reports and handle payments
  • Monitor members, guests and contractors at the assigned event/activity and report any issues to the superior
  • Instructional Support (includes but not limited to): Demonstrate procedures common to the activities and instruct on use of related equipment
  • Setup/prepare facilities prior to scheduled start time of events/activities eg. exercise classes, workshops, functions and sporting events
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and safety procedures
  • Facility/Equipment Maintenance (includes but not limited to): Ensure facilities are open and/or closed at the posted time
  • Monitor and check the security of premises
  • Monitor activities within the facility and ensure good order and discipline
  • Ensure facilities are properly maintained, safe and ready for play/use
  • Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of facilities and equipment ie. facilities and equipment are in a clean, neat and orderly state at all times
  • Report maintenance problems and unsafe conditions or discrepancies that cannot be fixed in-house to the superior
