Job summary

A logistics firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to manage export and import operations. This role includes processing orders, ensuring accurate documentation, and coordinating with various departments and customers. Ideal candidates should have a diploma in logistics, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in SAP. Customer Service Representative

Location: Jurong Island (Company transport provided near Jurong East MRT)
Work hours: 8 am to 4.30 pm (Mon to Fri)
Salary range: $3200 - $3800+ AWS + VB + 15 Days AL

Responsibilities
  • Incumbent reports to the Customer Service Manager in our Sales office
  • Assist department's needs and customers' follow-up, preparation of documents and coordinating shipments and insurance declaration of outgoing products
  • Process export / import orders and ensure accurate documentation (invoice, packing list, BL, COO, permits).
  • Coordinate with forwarders and warehouses for timely shipment.
  • Monitor shipments and resolve customs or delivery issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to provide updates and improve processes.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Logistics or a related discipline
  • Experience in export documentation and shipping procedures in Asia Pacific region and order administration are essential
  • Minimum 5 years in export or logistics operations and proficiency in SAP is an advantage.
  • Must familiar with all 5 Areas: GSAP, Import & export documentation, Letter of Credit & bank negotiation, Warehouse and Carrier booking
