Job summary

Bombardier Singapore is seeking an experienced project manager for aircraft heavy/line maintenance. You will coordinate multiple aircraft, manage time and resources, and ensure adherence to MOE and quality procedures while delivering on time and within budget.

The role requires strong communication skills, risk management abilities, and familiarity with maintenance inspection programs for business jets. Hybrid work arrangements are supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of aircraft heavy/line maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of local regulations NAA, EASA, FAA Part 91/121/135/145.
• Familiarity with maintenance inspection programs for business jets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to plan and organize workload across multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as customer primary contact for communication, quotes, and invoicing coordination.
• Perform project management for multiple aircraft, identifying risks and constraints.
• Develop and maintain a schedule (Gantt/Pivotal) through delivery.
• Monitor workflow to keep on schedule and within budget per procedures.
• Lead status meetings and report progress to stakeholders.
• Support RTS (return to service) after maintenance.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Customer primary point-of-contact in communication, coordination, and follow-up action such as time/labor/material quotes (DAF approval), preliminary invoices (PPI) generated by planner, give progress updates, get customer approval and debrief on work packages (induction & output meetings), resolution of squawks, and address warranty issues (ODC & Customer Dispute) (SAP).
• Perform Project Management duties for multiple aircraft to include identification of potential risks and management of constraints.
• Develop Time Line (Gant chart) and maintain schedule (Pivotal) through aircraft delivery and follow-up.
• Monitor and oversee work flow to ensure work package is on schedule and within budget. Ensure that work is performed in accordance with Singapore MOE/ Repair Station / Quality Manual, Site Operating Procedures.
• Facilitate status meetings with all departments and shops; update daily reports on status of aircraft and report to all relevant stakeholders.
• Support the team in returning aircraft to service (RTS) after maintenance.
• Produce maintenance and other employee reports as assigned (i.e., IW72/CN41, shortage sheet/zoom, and Autotime).
• Review, approve, and sign final customer invoice as needed (ZPRJ) (i.e., review margin analysis, warranty negotiations, and review of service orders (SVOs).
• Perform post work package activities (Pivotal), (i.e., customer follow-up calls, resolve customer issues after departure.
• Coordinate with customer concerning entertainment during site visit.
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding financial objectives on all projects.
• Encourage and promote a safe work environment by supervising a safety/security program which includes operation of support equipment, aircraft systems, 5S, general housekeeping and lean process.
• Any other adhoc assignment task by management.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

• You have Minimum 7 years of experience in performing aircraft heavy/line maintenance
• You hold Basic knowledge of applicable local regulation NAA, EASA and Federal Aviation Regulations, for example, part 91, 121, 135 & 145
• You have Basic knowledge of aircraft maintenance inspection programs for business jet aircraft
• You have interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other business areas and governmental agencies
• You have verbal and written communication skills
• You have planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments
