Job summary

Applied Materials Singapore seeks an experienced install engineering leader to manage district install engineers, drive objectives, and coordinate with Product Divisions for technical support, training, and spares. You will oversee installation planning, mentoring, escalation, and performance reviews across sites to ensure safe, efficient and timely project delivery.

• Must have proven leadership experience managing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains customer relationships with all relevant individuals in his/her district at all times.
• Performs regular customer visits.
• Manages, coaches and directs all customer engineers in his/her district.
• Responsible for salary planning, career planning, corrective actions where necessary, establishes objectives and performance appraisals.
• Gives formal updates to all employees.
• Be the prime interface with Product Divisions: tech support, training, spares, reliability.
• Executes escalation procedure.
• Responsible for account planning with District Sales Engineer.
• Provides support plan for system sales to CSD Management, Sales, Field Engineering.
• Responsible for financial forecast for his/her district.
• Responsible for cost efficiency with the district. Measured by the financial result.
• Manages RMA procedure.
• Functional Knowledge Installation performance management – Safety, Quality, Cycle Time, Cost.
