Position Title: Customer Consultant / Service Sales Engineer
Working Location: Boon Lay
Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 5.30pm)
Salary Package: Basic salary up to $4,800 + Transport Allowance + Variable Bonus
Duration: Permanent Role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the customer’s main contact person and handle customer-related matters
- Manage a group of accounts, identify key customers, and create action plans to grow these accounts
- Identify solutions needed to meet customer needs and work closely with the Technical Support Team to make them available
- Identify opportunities with existing and new customers, and update them on service value-added offerings
- Identify sales opportunities, prepare proposals, and coordinate related processes to maintain high customer satisfaction and strong customer relationships
- Support customer growth and loyalty through ongoing assistance and follow-up
- Handle customer complaints by working with internal teams to investigate issues, assess possible solutions, and recommend options to customers
- Arrange regular service reviews with customers and the Operations team for urgent jobs and key issues
- Understand customer and industry needs, and support pricing and sales strategies
- Prepare and review contract terms and conditions
- Present proposals to customers
- Share market feedback, including competitor updates, customer expectations, and industry trends
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant sales experience
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, chiller plants, airside systems, energy services, and building services is an advantage
- Able to read and understand engineering documents and respond professionally to customer questions or complaints; able to understand written instructions, emails, and reports
- Able to identify problems, gather data, and make sound conclusions
- Customer-focused, with a drive to propose suitable options to meet customer needs
- Willing to learn new solutions and improve skills to better support customers
