Our client is an established Web3 / Blockchain group of companies, due to expansion they are looking for a CTO.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of the core protocol of the public blockchain, including key components such as the consensus mechanism, smart contract system, and virtual machine.
• Develop and execute the technology roadmap for the public chain to ensure alignment between technical direction and business goals.
• Manage and mentor a high‑performing technical team, improving the team's overall technical capabilities.
• Drive technological innovation by researching and applying the latest advancements in blockchain technology.
• Collaborate with other executives to shape the company's overall strategy and technical decision‑making.
• Oversee communication and collaboration with external technical partners and the developer community.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of the public blockchain, with continuous optimization.

Requirements

• Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in blockchain or related technical domains, including at least 5 years in technical leadership or management roles.
• Deep understanding of core blockchain technologies, including consensus algorithms, cryptography, and distributed systems.
• Must have development experience with EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine)-based mainnets, and be proficient in Solidity and smart contract development.
• Strong knowledge of other public blockchain technologies (e.g., Cosmos SDK, Substrate).
• Excellent problem‑solving and technological innovation capabilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate technical teams.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with blockchain industry trends and forward‑thinking in technical strategy.
