Job summary

A leading integrated resort in Singapore is seeking an individual to operate its rock climbing attraction. The role involves ensuring safety protocols, delivering excellent guest service, and managing inspection tasks. Ideal candidates should have at least 1 year of operations experience and be able to work shifts, including weekends. Strong communication and team-oriented skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Operate the Rock Climbing attraction according to safety protocols.
  • Conduct pre-opening and closing inspections.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and assist guests.
  • Monitor guest behavior and enforce safety guidelines.
  • Respond to technical issues and emergencies promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the area.
  • Assist with crowd control during peak hours.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns.
  • Participate in cross-training at other attractions.

Job description

Operate the Rock Climbing attraction in accordance with established safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

Conduct thorough pre-opening and closing inspections to ensure all climbing equipment and surrounding areas are safe, secure, and fully operational.

Deliver exceptional guest service, including welcoming guests, providing clear instructions, assisting with harnessing, and ensuring a smooth climbing experience.

Monitor guest behaviour closely and enforce safety guidelines to maintain a secure and enjoyable environment for all participants.

Respond promptly and professionally to any technical issues, guest incidents, or emergency situations within the attraction.

Maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and visual appeal of the Rock Climbing area.

Assist with crowd control and queue management, especially during peak hours, to ensure efficient guest flow.

Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or operational irregularities to supervisors immediately.

Participate in cross-training opportunities at other attractions to enhance operational versatility and support broader team needs.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum GCE ‘O/N’ Level or ITE.
  • Prior operations experience of at least 1 year is preferred.

  • Able to perform manual tasks and able to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including being comfortable speaking in large group settings.
