• Compute monthly payroll processing for crew members.

Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• MOM Work Pass (EP/SP/WP) application and adherence to procedures including education verification, medical, insurance and compliance with local MOM regulations. Process, apply and issue Employment Pass, Special Pass, Work Permits for Marine Employees as dictated.
• Administration of Employment Agreement (crew member). Prepare Employment agreement for crew members (Seafarer Employment Agreement).
• Work closely with overseas Crewing Team to ensure documentation compliance such as vessel joining documents, Seafarer Employment agreements, seafarer documentation.
• Work closely with Crew Management Partner overseas to ensure smooth coordination. Work closely with clients and agents locally to keep progress of work pass application and operational matters intact.
• Update records of employees in the Crewing systems & in-house software.
• Assist with compliance in all areas of Marine HR. Update and track excel sheet of all employees and contractors’ work pass, work pass exemption.
• Compute monthly payroll processing of all crew members.
• Prepare and compute crew leave balance statement for month end.
• Monitor work pass cancellation and timely reporting to IRAS for tax computation.
• Knowledge of MPA system and Harbourcraft vessel handling will be an added advantage.
• Support Operations Manager as and when required.
