Job summary

A leading banking institution in Singapore is seeking a candidate to monitor and analyze Expected Credit Loss (ECL) of its portfolios. The ideal applicant should have a Bachelor's degree, 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in Python. Bilingual abilities in English and Chinese are required for communication with counterparts at the Head Office.

Job Description
  • Monitor and analyze Expected Credit Loss (ECL) of the Branch's portfolios
  • Estimate and forecast possible provision changes over specific clients and transactions
  • Perform internal modeling constructions and enhancements
  • Coordinate with Head Office on credit risk-related model development
  • Prepare and submit various credit risk-related reports and statements
  • Perform various risk identification and monitoring tasks
  • Update and improve policies and procedures relating to credit or ESG risks
  • Follow up on internal and external audit-related matters
  • Support and coordinate the Branch's sustainability initiatives
  • Work on projects on an ad‑hoc basis
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • 2 to 5 years relevant working experience
  • Able to work under pressure and complete multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented, able to work independently or as a team
  • Proficiency in Python programming, familiarity with other programming languages also valued.
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese is required as incumbent is required to liaise with Chinese counterparts from Head Office.
