Qualifications

  • At least 7 years' experience in SME credit underwriting within a bank or financial institution.
  • Solid understanding of trade finance, receivables finance, or working capital lending.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and collaborate across business and risk functions.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with sound risk judgment.

  • Prepare comprehensive credit proposals and risk assessments, recommending appropriate credit limits and terms.

  • Monitor post-lending performance, including payment trends, covenant compliance, and early warning indicators.
  • Support the enhancement of credit processes, reporting, and audit readiness across the credit function.
