Overview

Our client is seeking a diligent and proactive Credit Control Executive to support the company’s credit management and collections activities. The role is key to maintaining healthy cash flow and minimizing credit risks through accurate billing, timely collections, and effective account management.

Job Description
  • Ensure accuracy in billing processes, timely collection of receivables, and effective credit risk management.
  • Monitor and analyze customer accounts to identify potential default risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Prepare and issue reminder notices, account statements, and dunning letters in accordance with company policies.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and maintain regular communication with overdue or delinquent customers to resolve disputes and secure payments.
  • Review and recommend credit limits or payment terms consistent with internal policies and overall risk appetite.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to manage credit exposure, support business growth, and safeguard cash flow.
  • Prepare periodic ageing reports, collection forecasts, and credit risk analyses for management review.
  • Support system and process improvement initiatives, and participate in audits or internal control reviews.
  • Supervise and guide junior credit control staff where required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Job Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in credit control or collections, preferably with exposure to hire purchase or financing agreements.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk management principles and collection strategies; experience in hire purchase, leasing, or financing environments will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
  • Meticulous, proactive, and results-driven, with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Good command of both English and Mandarin to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients.
