Job summary

Singapore Piping Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced crane operator to ensure daily safety checks and routine maintenance of the assigned crane.

You will log operations in accordance with MOM guidelines and promptly report any defects to keep lifting activities safe and compliant. The role requires a valid MOM crane operator license, a Class 5 driving license, and at least 5 years of experience operating cranes above 80 tons. Knowledge of safety certificates is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid MOM crane operator license.
• Must hold valid Class 5 driving license.
• Proficient in operating cranes with capacity over 80 tons.
• Over 5 years of operating experience preferred.
• Certifications in safety management and crane operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and daily safety checks of the assigned crane, including logging in crane and lifting logbooks per MOM guidelines.
• Timely report of defective parts such as hook block, wire, boom, etc.
• Follow operational procedures with due care and diligence and maintain safety practices.
• Operate crane in a safe and efficient manner and contribute to a positive safety culture.
• Familiarity with TADANO GR800-1-00211 ROUGH TERRAIN CRANE is advantageous.

• Ensure regular maintenance and carry out daily safety check of the assigned crane, including filling up the crane logbook and lifting logbook as per MOM guidelines.
• Timely report of defective parts such as hook block, wire, boom, etc.
• Follow operational procedures with due care and diligence.
• Maintain good safety practices.
• Familiar in operating TADANO GR800-1-00211 ROUGH TERRAIN CRANE will be an advantage.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess valid crane operator license from MOM.
• Candidate must possess valid Class 5 Driving license.
• Must be proficient in operating cranes with a capacity of over 80 tons.
• Over 5 years of operating experience is preferred.
• Possess a certificate in Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Sites (Previously known as BCSS) and a certificate in Enhance Safety of Crane Operation is preferred.
• Willing to work 6 days a week.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Possess a positive work attitude and be a good team player.
