Job summary

JENMON CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced crane electrician to install, troubleshoot, and repair overhead, gantry and monorail cranes.

You will coordinate with project engineers and supervisors to keep projects on track and ensure electrical panels and related duties meet safety and quality standards. The role requires 2–3 years in crane environments, knowledge of inverters and PLC systems, and the ability to produce electrical drawings per Singapore

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Electronic engineering.
• 2–3 years experience in crane industry.
• Knowledge of crane troubleshooting, inverter brands and PLC systems.
• Ability to generate electrical drawings per Singapore standards a plus.
• Holders of Driving Licence Class 3.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation and troubleshooting for overhead, gantry and monorail cranes.
• Recommend parts replacement to ensure continuous operation.
• Coordinate with Project Engineer/Manager and supervisors on project tasks.
• Handle control panels and other electrical duties related to cranes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and the company's QMS.
• Work closely with supervisors and mechanical team to complete tasks.
• Ensure service and readiness during office hours and after hours.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform overhead cranes, gantry cranes, monorail cranes electrical installation and troubleshooting task, repairs and parts replacement to resolve related site issues
• Recommendation of part replacement to ensure continuous operation of the equipment
• Coordinate and liaise with Project Engineer/Manager and respective supervisor on tasks and works relating to the project
• Responsible for doing control panel and any other works related to Electrical duties
• Ensure compliance with relevant standard
• Ensure compliance with company’s Quality Management Systems
• Working closely with Supervisor and Mechanical team to get the job done
• Ensure service and work readiness during office works hours and after hours
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic
• Minimum 2 to 3 years in the Crane industry
• Knowledge of crane troubleshooting, various brands of inverters, PLC system.
• Ability to generate Electrical drawings in accordance to Singapore standards a plus
• Holders of Driving Licence Class 3
