Your Role
- Responsible for Accounting functions
- Maintain full set of accounts
- Perform daily bookkeeping activities - sales, purchases, receivables, payables, and cash disbursements.
- Ensure proper accounting records are maintained and procedures are adhered to.
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Manage timely closing process and reconciliations, including for inter-company transactions;
- Handle month-end, financial year-end closing, monthly balance sheet, P&L, Bank reconciliation.
- Manage Fixed Assets; Balance sheet accounts reconciliations.
- Handle any other ad-hoc duties/task assigned.
To qualify for the role you must have:
- Degree in Accountancy/Taxation/Business related discipline, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting & finance; Excellent problem solving skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles;
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency;
- Expertise in time management, and the ability to adapt to change under pressure.
- Highly collaborative approach to work.
- Experience with Formal Accounting Software
- ISCA membership as a Chartered Accountant member
- Must be able to speak and write in Chinese (to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients)
