Job description

Job Overview

The Cost Accountant will be responsible for product costing, budgeting, forecasting, and manufacturing cost control activities within a fast-paced semiconductor MNC environment. This role focuses on financial analysis and cost management—not general accounting—and requires strong SAP expertise and stable job tenure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform SAP month-end closing activities and ensure timely cost postings.
• Execute monthly/quarterly product costing runs in SAP.
• Lead and coordinate annual budget planning with all departments.
• Handle manufacturing cost controlling, including variance analysis and cost monitoring.
• Manage and control inventory for finished goods, spare parts, consumables, and WIP.
• Prepare monthly management reports and support financial performance reviews.
• Develop cost controlling reports, dashboards, and analytical summaries.
• Support audit preparation, schedules, and documentation.
• Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and business improvement projects.

Job Requirements

• Strong experience in product costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Hands-on SAP experience (essential).
• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy / ACCA or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
