Job description

The Corporate Program Manager plays a central role in ensuring coordinated execution and alignment across Meranti Green Steel’s corporate and cross-functional workstreams in the lead-up to Final Investment Decision (FID) and beyond. This role supports the delivery of strategic programs spanning HR, Sustainability, Governance & Policy, ERP readiness, Business Process improvement, and other enterprise-wide initiatives that are critical to building a high-performing, investment-ready organization.

The successful candidate will bring structure to complexity, apply strong project management discipline, and drive follow-through across functions. This role suits someone who enjoys working at the heart of a complex program, breaking down big goals into trackable actions, and making sure the right things happen in the right order, at the right time.

Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination & Delivery
  • Maintain a structured program view across all Org Dev workstreams and ensure actions, decisions, and interdependencies are tracked and followed through.
  • Apply project management tools and methods (e.g., timelines, milestone tracking, status updates) to ensure key deliverables are planned, coordinated, and delivered on schedule.
  • Coordinate task owners across multiple functions and countries to resolve blockers and keep momentum on high-priority activities.
Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Serve as the linking point between Corporate Operations and other functions including Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and external advisors
  • Work closely with business project owners (e.g., ERP Manager, Governance & Policy Manager, HR, Sustainability) to sequence activities logically
  • Facilitate conversations where priorities intersect, ensuring clarity and coordination
Reporting & Visibility
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and tracking tools to give leadership visibility into program progress
  • Support the preparation of updates for executive reviews, board materials, and investor/lender reporting as needed
Internal Communications
  • Drive structured updates to the MGS Lead Team and internal stakeholders, using clear project tracking tools and visual dashboards where helpful.
  • Organize working sessions, decision forums, and interdepartmental check-ins to align timelines and accountabilities across the delivery roadmap.
Requirements / Skills / Experience
  • 8+ years in program or project management, transformation, or operations delivery roles in complex, cross-functional environments
  • Background in infrastructure, industrial, or high-growth companies is advantageous
  • Prior experience managing strategic initiatives or FID-critical programs is a strong plus
  • Strong program / project delivery capability with an eye for detail and discipline
  • Collaborative style with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work across disciplines and with senior stakeholders
  • Calm under pressure, solutions-oriented, and proactive in surfacing issues
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity and shaping order from evolving requirements
Required Education / Qualification / Training
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or another relevant field related to program delivery, operations, or organizational development
  • PMP or other program management certifications are helpful but not required
