Main Responsibilities
  • Industry Specialized Sales
  • Aligns with PBMs on Partner Business Planning for the territory; identifies opportunities for growth and collaborates with PBMs, ISEs, SSEs, etc.
  • Responsible for creation, monitoring and review of business development activities around the solution- or industry- specialization area. Defines innovative approaches to generate business and executes either directly or via the partner-sales teams. Drives core strategies and actions to ensure KPI achievement.
  • Coaches partner sales reps to interact with prospects in large or complex deals, positioning the value of the respective SW or industry solution with ROI, business case development, references, and analyst data. Ensures high conversion rate from pipeline to deal closure and accelerates the sales process to achieve volume business. Understands competitive threats.
  • Drives deal closure by engaging in big and complex opportunities with partners; balances direct and indirect activities to maximize territory revenue.
  • Enables partners to independently drive business with resources: partner demand generation plan, partner competency plan, partner resource utilization plan, and presales coaching plan.
  • Focuses on volume segment, aligning with Indirect Channel Management and Inside Sales; collaborates with specialized sales roles where available; monitors SAP asset usage by partners; and reports on sales progress with deviations addressed to achieve goals.
Experience & Language Requirements
  • Minimum 12-15 years of SaaS sales experience
  • Profound knowledge in one or more solution areas (e.g., LoB, Mobility, In-Memory, ByDesign, BA& T, BOne, BAiO, Cloud) or a relevant industry
  • Experience in multi-channel go-to-market models
  • Understanding of solution & cloud selling through partners
  • Knowledge of indirect channel dynamics; knowledge of cloud ERP market; proven SAAS sales credentials
  • Local Singapore market knowledge
  • Travel – 10%
