Job summary

A leading semiconductor equipment company in Singapore is looking for a technical support specialist to ensure proper installation and maintenance of equipment. Qualifications

  • Greater than 3 years of relevant equipment management experience.

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for installation and operation of new equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.
  • Assist in training operators and writing maintenance manuals.

Job description
Your mission
  • Provide technical support for the installation, operation and trial production of new equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment hardware and software issues.
  • Participate in the development, design, and improvement of new equipment.
  • Provide maintenance during the warranty period of new equipment.
  • Assist the customer equipment department in training operators and writing equipment maintenance manuals.
Technical Requirements
  • Basic understanding of high‑tech factory equipment and its major modules/components.
  • Experience in equipment assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge in mechanical design (AutoCad, SolidWorks, or related software), electronic control system design experience, or knowledge of equipment design programming in industrial PLC/PC.
  • Experience in control system software application development is preferred (B&R automation studio, National Instruments Labview, etc.).
  • Prior experience in a wafer fabrication facility is preferred.
  • Prior experience in semiconductor equipment assembly and debugging is preferred.
Your profile
  • Associate degree or above in mechanical, electrical, electronics, automation, or related majors.
  • More than 3 years of relevant work experience in equipment management, with at least 1 year of experience in the semiconductor electronics industry equipment management.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for long periods of time.
  • Proficiency in mechanical or electrical equipment‑related theory and practical handling.
  • Strong ability to judge and handle accidents, with strong hands‑on ability, sense of responsibility, and good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to independently complete equipment maintenance work.
  • Fluent English level with basic listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
  • Proficient in using Word & Excel.
