Job summary
A leading semiconductor equipment company in Singapore is looking for a technical support specialist to ensure proper installation and maintenance of equipment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in equipment management, proficiency in CAD software, and be willing to travel internationally. Qualifications
- Greater than 3 years of relevant equipment management experience.
- 1 year of experience in semiconductor electronics industry equipment management.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for installation and operation of new equipment.

Your mission
- Provide technical support for the installation, operation and trial production of new equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment hardware and software issues.
- Participate in the development, design, and improvement of new equipment.
- Provide maintenance during the warranty period of new equipment.
- Assist the customer equipment department in training operators and writing equipment maintenance manuals.
Technical Requirements
- Basic understanding of high‑tech factory equipment and its major modules/components.
- Experience in equipment assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge in mechanical design (AutoCad, SolidWorks, or related software), electronic control system design experience, or knowledge of equipment design programming in industrial PLC/PC.
- Experience in control system software application development is preferred (B&R automation studio, National Instruments Labview, etc.).
- Prior experience in a wafer fabrication facility is preferred.
- Prior experience in semiconductor equipment assembly and debugging is preferred.
Your profile
- Associate degree or above in mechanical, electrical, electronics, automation, or related majors.
- More than 3 years of relevant work experience in equipment management, with at least 1 year of experience in the semiconductor electronics industry equipment management.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for long periods of time.
- Proficiency in mechanical or electrical equipment‑related theory and practical handling.
- Strong ability to judge and handle accidents, with strong hands‑on ability, sense of responsibility, and good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to independently complete equipment maintenance work.
- Fluent English level with basic listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Proficient in using Word & Excel.
