Responsible for providing engineering and administrative support to the Engine Sales Department. This includes preparing quotations, processing orders, coordinating procurement and shipments, and managing engine inventory.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and compile quotations, cost build-ups, and related technical documentation.
- Maintain all leads, opportunities and quotations in CRM system.
- Process Sale & Purchase Agreements and customer orders in SAP.
- Prepare downpayment invoices for customer orders and submit to sales team or customers directly.
- Support pricing discount requests and monitor their status.
- Prepare Purchase Requisitions and liaise with internal departments and suppliers.
- Coordinate with suppliers, engineers, and logistics for procurement and delivery arrangements.
- Assist to monitor the engines / gensets inventory and co-ordinate with Warehouse regarding storage and inventory of units.
- Update quotation reports and perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Person Specifications
- Possess at least a Diploma in Engineering, or 2 years of working experience in related industry.
- Able to correspond in writing and deal with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge on engines and gensets is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (such as Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint).
- Must have good interpersonal skills, independent and resourceful.
- Detailed-oriented and organized professional with a strong commitment to accuracy and timely delivery of tasks.
- Able to travel as and when required.
- Knowledge of SAP system is an added advantage.
