  • Team Coordination:
Liaise with chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants to ensure clear communication of daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Logistics & Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels, initiate procurement requests, and coordinate deliveries with suppliers to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Quality Control & SOP Adherence:
Ensure that kitchen staff follow food safety regulations and internal SOPs consistently, reporting any deviations or incidents.
  • Order Management:
Collaborate with the order fulfillment team to align kitchen production with customer demand, adjusting schedules as needed.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain records of daily output, staff attendance, and production‑related incidents. Generate simple reports for management when required.
  • Process Improvement:
Identify bottlenecks in workflow and propose practical solutions to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Communication Hub:
Act as the point of contact between kitchen staff, delivery teams, and management, ensuring smooth flow of information.
Secondary Responsibilities – Cook:

Responsibilities:

  • Process and pack raw and cooked ingredients in accordance to specified guidelines, ensuring desired standards and quality are maintained.
  • Champion food sectors for baking, cooking, and mise‑en‑place within the central kitchen premises.
  • Maintain and upkeep kitchen machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure that the processing line and storage area are kept clean and compliant to food safety regulations.
  • Assist with research and development of new food products with fellow team members.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a food production or central kitchen environment.
