Job Summary:

To assist the Chef de Partie in the running of the sections

Job Responsibilities:
  1. To cut, portion and prepare stocks, sauces and daily garnishes with assistance of Cooks
  2. To provide service to all buffet replenishment and a la carte orders
  3. To prepare complete mise-en-place for the following day
  4. To ensure total cleanliness in the sections
  5. To practice and enforce the system of "First-In-First-Out" (FIFO) when storing food products
Your Profile:
Practical Experience and Knowledge
  • Have at least 2 years of Culinary experience in which a minimum of 1 year at a cook level managing high turnover restaurants in a 4/5 star hotel or high-volume independent restaurants
  • Proficient in Local/South-East Asian Cuisine and/or Mediterranean Cuisine
  • Must possess Food Hygiene certification
  • Sound knowledge of Back of House operations complying to Health and Hygiene regulations
Communication Skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Tactful and confident in speaking with guests and associates
IT Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office works
