Ang Mo Kio Town Council (AMKTC) is 1 of the biggest Town Council in Singapore and manages/improves the public residential and commercial properties in 7 divisions; namely Teck Ghee, Cheng San, Ang Mo Kio-Hougang, Seletar-Serangoon, Buangkok-Fernvale South, Kebun Baru SMC and Yio Chu Kang SMC. Contracts Officer (6 months Contract) - Immediate Opening

The Contracts Officer role is to provide essential administrative and clerical support to the Contracts Department, ensuring the smooth organisation, filing, and maintenance of Contract-related documents. The role involves assisting with the upkeep of Contract records, supporting housekeeping and disposal of redundant documents, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the Contracts Department.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist in compilation and maintaining an accurate Master List record of all Contracts (hardcopy and digital softcopy) at all times.
  • Maintain orderly and secure storage (both hardcopy and digital softcopy) of all Contract files and associated records.
  • Assist in the organising and housekeeping for the Contracts Department by identifying and arranging disposal of duplicated or expired documents in accordance with Town Council’s policy.
  • Perform general administrative duties and support, including photocopying, filing, binding, scanning, and data entry.
  • Support the Contracts Department in preparing necessary documents for quotations, tenders or other necessary meetings as required.
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all Contract-related documentation within the Contracts Department.
  • Undertake any other duties relevant to the role as assigned by the Management or Head of Department.
What we need from you and the required skills:
  • Minimum of a diploma or a higher NITEC in Business Management, Building Management, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin with written and communication. We are seeking candidates proficient in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to document handling.
