Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead a team of Quantity Surveyors in the procurement and contract management process. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, along with at least 10 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include managing contract progress claims, resolving disputes, and ensuring timely finalization of contracts. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience in contract negotiation, administration and management.
  • Able to independently lead/manage large scale projects.

Contracts Manager
Overview
  • Lead/manage a team of Quantity Surveyors in the administration and review of procurement and contract management
  • Review contract documents and provide cost estimates on tenders
  • Prepare and monitor project cost budget, cash-flow for project, track changes in design/construction work, variations and adjust budget projections accordingly
  • Oversee and manage main contract progress claim and subcontract payment including variation claim
  • Resolve contract disputes and contract claims, assessing entitlement for extension of time and loss / expense claim
  • Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondences and documentations
  • Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders
  • Ensure timely finalization of main and subcontract
Job Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree holder in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering or other related field
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience in contract negotiation, administration and management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, analytical mindset, problem solving abilities, as well as keen interest and motivation in a high growth and entrepreneur environment
  • Able to independently lead/manage large scale projects
