Job description

Contract - Senior Equipment Engineer - 1 year - Responsible for setting up and driving effective indicators such as OEE, UDT, MTBA, MTBF, FPY, PM Fulfillment, etc.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

  1. Set up and drive effective indicators such as OEE, UDT, MTBA, MTBF, FPY, and PM Fulfillment.
  2. Take overall responsibility for production readiness of new Test Cell systems, including test hardware and product qualification.
  3. Drive systematic preventive maintenance (PM) and ensure compliance for regular PM, troubleshooting, and equipment repair to maintain safety, high availability, and reliability.
  4. Analyze parts usage and lifespan to optimize machine performance and manage operating supply and PM costs within budget.
  5. Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance segment productivity (NLoP) and quality (NLoZD).
  6. Perform data analysis using statistical tools to identify trends and deviations, and take corrective actions.
  7. Implement control plans such as APC and Out of Control actions to monitor and manage deviations.
  8. Plan machine overhauls and reconditioning based on need and usage.
  9. Develop equipment specifications for next-generation or second-source equipment/tools.
  10. Create work instructions for equipment and tools, and manage training for operators, technicians, and engineers as needed.
Your Profile

You are suitable for this role if you have:

  1. 3-5 years of experience in final test equipment in the semiconductor industry.
  2. Experience with Tri-temp IC Test Handlers, e.g., Delta Matrix or Advantest M48xx series, is preferred.
  3. Strong knowledge of problem-solving and analysis tools, e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, QC tools.
  4. Technical competence and a desire to build technical skills.
  5. Passion for problem-solving and a hands-on approach.
  6. Project management experience and proactive communication skills to update stakeholders.

This is a 1-year contract with a third-party payroll partner and includes benefits according to the partner company.
