What the role is
In this role you will manage routine division operational work, provide administrative and project management support to the division and provide executive assistant support to Director. In addition, you will also support the division in areas of data preparation, data cleaning, data analysis and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver on project outcomes.
What you will be working on
Main Responsibilities:
- EA & Administrative Support
- Provide executive assistant support to Director.
- Support the division’s budget officers in managing the day-to-day budget monitoring / tracking.
- Perform finance administration which includes managing purchase orders, invoice processing and procurement matters.
- Undertake the role of knowledge manager and training officer.
- Any other administrative / operational matters as necessary.
- Project Management
- Support project leads in project management, vendor management, procurement and execution of projects to deliver on analytics related implementations, ensuring that deliverables and objectives are met within agreed scope and timelines.
- Work with product managers and business analysts to support testing and deployment of analytics solutions into production platform and systems.
- Support in Data Management and Analysis
- Perform business data analysis and information gathering on new data and analytic project requirements, synthesise collected information to support comprehensive analysis and assisting with data pre-processing and preparation work.
- Perform ad-hoc analytics, reporting and data visualisations relevant to project needs.
- Maintain, develop new data visualisations and enhance existing reports and dashboards.
What we are looking for
- Trained in Statistics, Business Analytics or a related quantitative discipline.
- Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.
- Good analytical and conceptual thinking skills with an eye for detail and possess an aptitude/experience in solving problems using quantitative approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to handle large volume of quantitative data and comfortable with routine work.
- Good project planning, organisational, and time management skills.
- Able to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Good stakeholder engagement skills.
- Prior familiarity with organisational administrative policies and procedures will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-starter with a passion for learning new technologies/tools.
- Competency in Microsoft office applications.
- Experience in using analytics tools e.g. Excel, R, Python.
- Experience in creating, editing and visualising data using tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, QlikSense) would be advantageous.
