Job summary

Job Responsibilities

• Act as the site Subject Matter Expert for MHI safety cases and main liaison with regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with MHI regulations, Global EHS standards, and industry best practices.
• Maintain the site’s Major Accident Prevention Policy and Health & Safety Management System.
• Plan and prepare for regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Ensure safety case documentation and records are audit-ready at all times.
• Lead and manage technical risk assessments to demonstrate ALARP for major accident hazards.
• Drive continuous improvement through process safety training, awareness, and culture-building initiatives.

Requirements

• Min. Degree in chemicals / process safety / mechanical / environmental engineering or science (pharmaceutical or chemistry)
• Has experience process safety engineering, QRA, or PHA is essential.
• Min 5 years of demonstrated process safety experience in the pharmaceutical API or related industries; incumbent as technical role with good knowledge of dispersion modelling, QRA is advantageous
• Demonstrated experience related to Process Safety / Major Hazard Installation
