Job description

The Contracts Manager (Tender) reports to the Deputy Director of Contracts and assists in all matters related to tender submissions.

A summary of the responsibilities for this position is, and not limited to, as follows:

  • To lead a team of QS in project tender.
  • Study the tender documents, drawings, specifications, source for suppliers and subcontractors and collate pricing for comparison.
  • Reviewing tender documents and drawings on contract requirements.
  • Prepare tender reports and analyse costings for tender.
  • Budget and pricing for tender.
  • Present the costings to internal stakeholders and put up recommendations.
  • Attend tender interviews and answer tender-related queries.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building or Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in tendering, estimating and measurement of quantities in projects worth at least $200 million.
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ensure quality of tender submissions to increase likelihood of award.
  • Manage project cost through sound recommendation of suppliers and subcontractors.
