Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced individual to oversee measurement and tender documentation processes. The role includes establishing procurement strategies, reviewing cost estimations, and developing recruitment processes. A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is required. This position also involves coaching Quantity Surveyors to their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the measurement and tender documentation processes.
• Establishing tender and procurement strategies and advises on relevant contracts.
• Reviewing cost estimations and monitors cash flow forecasts.
• Endorsing payment responses and final accounts.
• Working to mitigate risks and advises on dispute resolution techniques.
• Coordinating with finance department for billing and collection.
• Building relationships with customers and liaises with suppliers.
• Coaching and developing Quantity Surveyors under the team.

• Reviewing cost estimations and monitors cash flow forecasts.
• Endorsing payment responses and final accounts and establishes policies for payments and post contract administration matters.
• Working to mitigate risks and advises on dispute resolution techniques when necessary.
• Coordinating with finance department to ensure correct billing and collection of contractual revenues.
• Building relationships with customers and liaises with suppliers, specialists and subcontractors to help develop resource plans and monitor costs and profitability of construction works to deliver the project objectives.
• Coaching and developing Quantity Surveyors under the team to their full potential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Project Management, Construction Management or similar field.
