Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all contract administration and commercial functions across assigned projects.
  • Review and interpret contract terms, conditions, and obligations to ensure compliance and mitigate contractual risks.
  • Provide guidance on contractual rights, obligations, and claims to project teams and management.
  • Oversee tender evaluation, procurement strategies, and negotiation of subcontracts and supplier agreements.
  • Manage variation orders, progress claims, extensions of time, and final account settlements.
  • Advise on contract law matters, cost exposure, and potential disputes, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Monitor project cost performance and support cost control initiatives.
  • Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders on contractual and commercial issues.
  • Prepare and review contractual correspondences and documentation to safeguard company interests.
  • Mentor and provide direction to QS and contract administration staff.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in contract administration and commercial management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead QS capacity.
  • Proven track record in managing commercial or institutional building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, PSSCOC, and public sector procurement frameworks.
