Job description

Location: Changi
Duration: 1 year
Work hour: Standard Office Hours (8am – 5pm)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate environmental and safety needs (air permitting, wastewater, ergonomics, hazardous materials) and propose solutions.
• Develop and lead the implementation of EHS processes, ensuring compliance with site goals and programs.
• Provide EHS expertise in support of new processes, products, and technologies; participate in change control activities.
• Investigate EHS incidents and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Develop, revise, and deliver specialized EHS training programs to ensure compliance.
• Act as liaison with government agencies and support regulatory audits.
• Conduct internal inspections and site audits for continuous compliance.
• Serve as back-up Emergency Incident Commander and/or Safety Officer when required.

Requirements

• Min. Bachelor’s Degree with at least 4 years’ relevant EHS experience
• Registered Safety Officer
• Strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and local/federal regulations
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare industries (Preferred)
