Job summary

Heartstown Productions in Singapore seeks a hands-on creator to manage end-to-end production of short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and more. You will edit, pace, subtitle, design sound, and perform basic colour grading to deliver engaging content.

You’ll assist with on-location shoots, set up cameras, lighting and audio, and collaborate with talent. You’ll also help with copywriting, graphic design, and social media strategy as part of a small creative team.

Qualifications

• Experience editing short-form video for social platforms.
• Ability to pace, subtitle, mix sound and color correct.
• Experience assisting on-location shoots with camera and lighting.
• Copywriting for captions and hooks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of ideation through filming, editing and final delivery.
• Assist with on-location shoots including camera setup, lighting and audio.
• Develop social media content with captions, hooks and scripts.
• Support graphic design and visual content creation when required.
• Contribute to social media strategy, planning and performance analysis.

Job description

• Film short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social platforms

• Edit engaging short-form videos from start to finish — including cutting, pacing, subtitles, sound design, transitions and basic colour grading

• Assist with on-location shoots, including camera setup, framing, lighting, audio and directing/working with talent where required

• Assist with copywriting for social media captions, hooks, scripts

• Support graphic design and visual content creation for social media, presentations and marketing materials when required

• Assist with social media strategy, including content pillars, competitor research, content planning and performance analysis

• Organise and manage video footage, project files and content assets

• Take ownership of assigned projects from ideation → filming → editing → final delivery

• Support other creative and production tasks as needed
