What you’ll be doing

You’ll work with the cross‑functional teams that make up Spend — a squad that’s responsible for delivering a best‑in‑class multi‑currency card spending experience that’s as cheap, easy and safe as possible.

In this pivotal role, you’ll get to solve complex design challenges in both the digital and physical worlds — and help make the Wise card experience even better for millions of customers.
You'll also be part of the Content Guild, and will regularly collaborate with the content community across Wise.

Here’s how you’ll contribute

  • Get to know our customers, building empathy and a deep understanding of their needs
  • Contribute to the strategy and direction of existing products and features
  • Drive the customer experience of new products and feature launchesUse your expertise to discover, design and deliver simple, beautifully crafted, intuitive experiences that customers love
  • Influence teams and stakeholders to increase customer‑centeredness, creativity, and content quality across the squad
  • Work with designers from other squads to build a single, seamless experience for customers
  • Build a content design team within the Spend squad

Qualifications

About you:

  • Accomplished Content Design Lead with extensive experience shipping world‑class consumer products
  • A trusted partner, skilled at building cross‑functional relationships with peers and the wider business
  • Comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity — and can successfully collaborate in this environment
  • Have an eye for quality. You know how to deliver quality, and how to support others to do the same
  • Influential, inspiring, and able to work with others in a culture that values autonomy and empowerment
  • Highly empathetic, both to customers and the people you work with

Heads up, this probably isn’t for you if:

Your experience is mostly in marketing content, advertising, copywriting, journalism or social media — and you have no hands‑on experience of content design or working in UX
