The Role
The Afternaut Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Content Creator to manage the social media presence of our co-founder. This is a fascinating opportunity to shape the public reputation of a key leader within our organization, contributing directly to our brand narrative and strategic communication goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy for our co-founder across key platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and Xiao Hong Shu.
- Create engaging and high-quality content (text, image, video) in both English and Chinese, tailored to each platform's audience and best practices.
- Monitor, analyze, and leverage social media trends to inform content creation and strategy.
- Craft narratives that highlight our co-founder' s expertise, leadership, and contributions to The Afternaut Group and the wider industry.
- Engage with the online community, fostering positive interactions and managing comments/messages.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content consistency and alignment with overall company messaging.
- Track and report on social media performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing strategies for maximum impact.
- Maintain a strong understanding of The Afternaut Group's brand identity, values, and strategic goals to effectively represent them through our co-founder's profile.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, with a demonstrable portfolio of successfully managing both personal and executive social media profiles to enhance public reputation.
- Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with exceptional writing and communication skills in both languages.
- Proficiency in creating content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Xiao Hong Shu, understanding the nuances and best practices of each platform.
- Deep understanding of current social media trends, algorithms, and optimising content formats.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to balance creative content generation with business and communication objectives.
- Excellent storytelling abilities, capable of translating complex ideas into engaging and accessible content.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimize content performance.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free content.
- Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms
