A&O Shearman in Singapore is seeking highly skilled derivatives and structured finance lawyers to join its Peerpoint consultant panel. You will engage in high-level client work across OTC advisory, securitisations, and regulatory projects.

Ideal candidates have at least four years' PQE at a top-tier firm, a right to work in Singapore, and qualifications to practise in England & Wales, the US, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia. You may set up a Personal Services Company.

• Right to work and reside in Singapore.
• Post-qualification experience of 4+ years at a top-tier law firm in this field.
• Strong technical knowledge with some Asian experience preferred.
• Self-starter with a career as a consultant and drive to perform at a high level.
• Ability to lead or work within complex multinational project environments.
• Excellent communication and client interfacing skills.
• Client-service oriented with strong commercial acumen.

Responsabilidades

• Provide OTC transactional advisory and related work.
• Lead or contribute to securitisations, including synthetic and cash deals.
• Handle regulatory developments affecting structured finance.
• Work on structured equity financing and corporate equity derivatives; structured credit and commodities.
• Interface with international client teams and manage multi-jurisdictional assignments.
• Support the development of the consultant panel and client relationships.
• Possibly engage in setting up a Personal Services Company as needed.
• Assignments typically two to six months, with a minimum four days per week commitment.

Client assignments can range from stepping into a team to support a project to taking on a senior manager role working on major transactions or regulatory change projects or implementation. Assignments are usually two to six months in duration and tend to require you work a minimum of four days per week.

You may also have the opportunity to work within A&O Shearman on an ad-hoc basis, supporting teams when needed or joining them for fixed periods to work on a deal.
