You will deliver high-quality research and insights, support advisory offerings across communications strategy, media relations, ESG, and investor relations, and help manage client accounts with strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree ideally in business, journalism, communications, public policy, finance or economics. A postgraduate degree is an advantage
• 1-2 years’ experience in corporate or financial communications, journalism, banking/financial services, management consulting or public policy is preferable
• Possessing excellent verbal and written skills in English
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel

Responsibilities

• Research and analysis – desktop research to contextualise market, geopolitical and business trends and impact on clients’ businesses
• Horizonscanning – monitor current trends and developments with media monitoring
• Stakeholder management – build lists of target stakeholders for client work
• Content development – create compelling content for communications channels and client-ready documents
• Account support – assist with client meetings, develop materials, maintain trackers
• Supporting new business development – research and develop insights for proposals

The Opportunity

As aConsultant, you willbe responsible forproviding the highest quality of research and insight to support our advisory offering to our diverse set of clients.You will support a wide range of activityto deliver the firm’s core capabilities which include communications strategy, media relations,crisis management,transaction communications,investor relations,ESG advisory, market and industry research, and government relations

Responsibilities

As a Consultant with the Strategy and Communications team, your role will include:

• Research and analysis – conduct desktop research and analysis to contextualise market, geopolitical and/ orbusiness trendsand understand how it may impactclients’ businesses.Other areasofstrategic supportmay includeindustry and peerbenchmarkingandpreparation ofreportsand insights forsenior leadership and Boardlevel executives.
• Horizonscanning – keep abreast of current trends, news, and developments in thepublic domain, whichinclude proactive mediamonitoring,andevaluateimpacton clients.
• Stakeholder management – Build understanding and lists of stakeholder targets to support client account work , which may include but not limited tojournalists,influencers,analystsand investors.
• Content development – contribute to the creation of compelling and impactful content for various communications channels including traditional media, digital, and social media. Collaborate with colleagues to develop client ready documentsto support messaging executive materials and campaign support.
• Account support –assistthe wider account team in managing client relationship by providing support during client meetings,developingandmaintainingclient communication materials, taking notes, updating project trackers, and helping to ensure all client needs are met ina timelyand satisfactory manner.
• Supporting new business development - supporting senior members of the team with new business proposalse.g.conducting research and developing insights to support the proposal building process.

Furthermore, you will be expected to:

• Build strong client and team relationships;
• Provide support and insight to your client teams, proactively highlighting opportunities, and potential areas of concern;
• Build a strong network of effectivestakeholderrelationships internally and externally; and
• Proactivelyseekformal and informal learning and development opportunities to support your professional growth.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’sdegree ideally in business, journalism, communications, public policy,financeoreconomics. A postgraduate degree is an advantage
• 1-2 years’ experienceincorporateor financialcommunications,journalism,banking/financial services, managementconsultingor public policy is preferable;
• Possessing excellent verbal and writtenskills in English
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, includingproficiencyin PowerPoint and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Additionallanguage capabilities in Chinese or BahasaIndonesia or Bahasa Malaysiawould beadvantageous
• Experience withAI toolsandsocial media platform management (LinkedIn,X,Reddit,etc.)isan added advantage
• International experience (study and/or work) a plus
• A strong interest in geopolitics, macroeconomic drivers, and financial markets
• Candidate needsto be confident,matureand outgoing.An entrepreneurial spirit, can-do attitude andbeing ateam player is essential
• Must display a strong work ethic,high standardsand commitment to the role
