Job summary

Wachsman is seeking a Consultant for immediate hire at its Asia Headquarters in Singapore. You will support the development and delivery of strategic communications work for clients, including change management, public affairs, stakeholder engagement and mission-critical business moments.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of experience in strategic communications, with agency experience a plus, and strong English written and verbal skills. Knowledge of finance or advanced technology is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in strategic communications and/or corporate affairs.
• At least 2 years in credentialed agency/consultancy is a plus.
• Knowledge of finance and/or advanced technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support development and delivery of strategic communications work for clients.
• Work with senior team members and clients to translate objectives into strategies.
• Contribute to client strategies blending communications, risk, and business considerations.
• Develop high-quality drafts of communications materials.
• Manage defined projects and coordinate with stakeholders and external parties.
• Review drafts from junior team members to ensure quality.

Wachsman is seeking a Consultant for immediate hire at its Asia Headquarters in Singapore.

DUTIES:

• Support the development and delivery of strategic communications work for clients, including change management, public affairs, stakeholder engagement and mission-critical business moments.
• Work closely with senior team members and clients to understand business objectives and translate these into effective communications strategies and programmes.
• Contribute to the development of client strategies, frameworks and recommendations that blend strategic communications, risk management and broader business considerations.
• Develop high-quality drafts of communications documents, strategic materials and other client content.
• Manage defined projects and workstreams, coordinating effectively with clients’ internal stakeholders and external parties such as lawyers, bankers, investors and policy advisors.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on drafts and materials produced by junior team members, ensuring a consistently high standard of client work.
• Build strong relationships with clients and provide thoughtful, solutions-focused counsel within their areas of responsibility.
• Contribute ideas, insights and perspectives that strengthen client work and the wider consultancy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 4 years of experience providing strategic communications and/or corporate affairs services including strategic counsel, financial and resource planning, issues/crisis management and client management; at least 2 years of credentialed agency/consultancy experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of finance and/or advanced technology is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of media and political landscape in Singapore and across Asia Pacific; international experience is a plus.
