Job summary

PRENTICE ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled welder to perform welding and related metalwork at construction sites. You will ensure work follows drawings, site requirements, and safety standards while maintaining equipment and tools in good condition.

The role involves welding per drawings, cutting and grinding, and upholding safety procedures in line with WSH. You will also inspect and keep welding gear in good condition and work effectively as part of a team on-site.

Qualifications

• Relevant welding experience, preferably in construction.
• Able to read basic drawings and follow work instructions.
• Welding certification/qualification will be an advantage.
• Physically fit and willing to work at construction sites.
• Safety-conscious and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding work according to technical drawings and site specifications to meet project standards.
• Execute cutting, grinding, and basic metal fabrication tasks to prepare materials for welding.
• Apply safety procedures to conduct welding activities in compliance with site and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
• Inspect and maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition.
