Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Assistant to support the Project Manager in overseeing project execution. Responsibilities include managing site operations, liaising with subcontractors, and conducting site inspections. The ideal candidate should have strong project management capabilities and be bilingual in Mandarin and English. Shift work and weekend duties are required.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting Project Manager to plan, manage and ensure smooth implementation and monitoring of projects assigned from inception to completion on time and of desired quality
• Responsible for assisting to manage and monitor site operations, workers and contractors
• Responsible for leading and managing the installation team to ensure safe, high quality and complete-on-time delivery of the organization's project and solutions
• Evaluate and resolve any discrepancies and problems arising at the site (Technical matters)
• Supervised the site works on a day-to-day basis and issues relating to a given project.
• Liaise with subcontractors and ensure timely completion of all works according to quality specifications and work schedule
• Conduct regular inspections and assess the work performance done by all subcontractors
• To manage, supervise and coordinate site works and workers
• shift work and weekend duty is required
• hands-on for site work such as formwork & rebar practical coaching and training for new workers
• Able to speak Mandarin & English to communicate/arrange job with workers in different country
