Overview

A Construction Supervisor with responsibilities for waterproofing, painting, and electrical duties plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing various aspects of a construction project. Here\u2019s a breakdown of the job scope for each area:

Waterproofing (Open roof area)
  • Site Inspection: Conducting thorough inspections of the construction site to identify areas that require waterproofing. This includes assessing the condition of surfaces, joints, potential water entry points, and PU Grouting.
  • Material Selection: Choosing appropriate waterproofing materials based on site conditions, local building codes, and project requirements.
  • Supervision of Application: Overseeing the application of waterproofing materials, ensuring proper techniques are followed to create a seamless and effective barrier against water intrusion.
  • Quality Control: Conducting regular quality checks to ensure that waterproofing work meets industry standards and project specifications.
Painting
  • Surface Preparation: Ensuring that surfaces to be painted are properly cleaned, repaired, and primed before applying paint. This may involve tasks like sanding, filling cracks, and applying sealants.
  • Color and Material Selection: Assisting in the selection of appropriate paint types, colors, and finishes based on project requirements, design plans, and client preferences.
  • Supervision of Application: Overseeing the painting process to ensure proper techniques are used, including correct mixing of paint, application methods, and drying times.
