Job summary

Kugan Engineering PTE. LTD. is hiring a driver to transport construction workers, materials and equipment between company premises, workers’ accommodation and construction sites. You will load, unload and secure loads, assist with material movement, and ensure timely deliveries while following site safety rules.

The role requires safe driving, adherence to traffic regulations, and basic vehicle maintenance checks. Join a team supporting construction operations on-site in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to transport construction workers to and from the company's premises, workers' accommodation and construction sites.
• Transport construction materials, tools, equipment and supplies to and from construction sites.
• Load and unload construction materials, equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Assist workers and supervisors with the movement and positioning of materials at construction sites.
• Assist with general construction and site-support activities as required.
• Ensure materials are properly secured before transportation.
• Check the condition of the vehicle before use and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic housekeeping of the vehicle and work areas.
• Follow site safety rules, traffic regulations and workplace safety requirements.
• Assist in carrying, shifting and arranging construction materials at the worksite.
• Coordinate with supervisors regarding delivery schedules, site access and transportation requirements.
• Ensure timely transportation of workers, materials and equipment between designated locations.
• Maintain proper records of deliveries, trips and transportation activities where required.
