Job summary

ZHENGLI ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a capable Project Engineer/Assistant to support the Project Manager in daily tasks and ensure construction activities align with drawings and schedules.

You will monitor progress, supervise subcontractors and internal workers, and communicate clear instructions at toolbox meetings. The role requires at least 5 years in the field, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and willingness to be on-call to site and answer the phone 24

Qualifications

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
Highly motivated, self-motivated, team player, strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Able to answer the phone 24 hours a day and be on call to the site at any time.

Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer in performing daily tasks.
Supervise the work of subcontractors and internal workers.
Work closely with other field operations personnel to meet project schedules.
Ensure installation is performed as per construction drawings.
Monitor progress and quality of work performed by workers.
Ensure work is performed to acceptable standards of workmanship.
Participate in daily toolbox meetings and convey clear instructions accordingly.
Understand and ensure compliance with project requirements and scope of work.
