We are seeking a talented and experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team at Quek Hock Seng Construction Pte Ltd. As a full-time Construction Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of our construction projects in the Jurong East West Region. This is a crucial role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

What you'll be doing
  • Supervising and coordinating all on-site construction activities, including managing subcontractors and labour
  • Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and safety procedures
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress, and identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise
  • Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior members of the construction team
What we’re looking for
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Construction Site Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A proven track record of delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • A valid construction site management certification or equivalent
