Responsibilities

• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to understand project requirements.
• Prepare schedules, material lists, and site layout plans.
• Identify resources needed (labor, machinery, materials).
• Oversee daily construction activities on site.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor quality, workmanship, and compliance with safety standards.
• Supervise subcontractors and labor teams.
• Solve engineering problems and provide technical support on site.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical reports.
• Ensure structural, electrical, plumbing, or civil works meet engineering standards.
• Conduct site inspections and testing (materials, concrete, soil, etc.).
• Liaise between project managers, contractors, clients, and suppliers.
• Update progress reports and communicate delays or issues promptly.
• Organize meetings with stakeholders to resolve technical or operational challenges.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulations on site.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
• Report accidents or incidents and take corrective measures.
• Ensure work complies with local building codes and environmental regulations.
• Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and material usage records.
• Track project costs and ensure resources are used efficiently.
• Record changes or deviations from original plans for approval.
