Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Safety Officer to manage construction site safety and environmental matters on our projects in Singapore. You will lead site inspections and ensure compliance with MOM/NEA requirements while coordinating with subcontractors.

The role requires registering as a Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM and an Environmental Control Officer with NEA, with at least 3 years of experience in building construction projects.

Qualifications

• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (MOM)
• Registered Environmental Control Officer (NEA)
• At least 3 years of experience in building construction projects

Responsibilities

• Take charge of construction site safety and environmental matters.
• Identify and assess foreseeable risk at the construction job site.
• Recommend measures to eliminate and foreseeable risk at construction job site.
• Recommend safe work procedures to control risk at construction job site.
• Lead safety and site inspections to ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Lead periodic environmental inspections.
• Check and ensure subcontractors and workers comply with safety procedures and requirements.
• Investigate site incidents/accidents.
• Plan and conduct safety trainings for workers.
• Ensure proper housekeeping for safe and tidy job sites.
• Assist Project Manager in ad-hoc Safety related matters on site.

Education

Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (MOM)

Registered Environmental Control Officer (NEA)

3+ years of experience in building construction projects
